"When I first came into care I thought nobody was listening to me, so I got in touch with the listening to children officer and she got me an advocate, although my foster carers was fantastic, I didn't feel happy because my social worker wasn't listening to me and my foster carer wasn't able to do much about my needs.

My advocate was a very nice and fab person who listened to me I told her all that was bothering me. My advocate then got me a legal adviser (solicitor) and since then I've been going to court to get my life sorted. What I actually like about my advocate is that, she is very friendly and I feel very comfortable to be with her and can tell her everything thats bothering me. We also like sharing jokes and she makes me smile. Now everything seems to be going well with me.

As for my foster carers, they are the kind of carers young people could look forward to get when the young people are depress and distress. My foster home is the home of social harmony and equal respect and right, although we have all sort of race living in the house you always have the time to voice your opinion when you feel like it but in the right way.

I love them to bits and I wish my family was like that".
