Moving into privately rented flats or bedsits

If you want to, you can arrange for yourself to rent a flat or bed-sit direct with a private landlord. The numbers of letting agencies can be found in the Yellow Pages, or in local newspapers. Your social worker will advise you regarding rent in advance, and deposits if one is required. If you are under 18yrs you will not be able to sign the tenancy agreement.
