Moving into supported lodgings

Supported lodgings is a scheme that provides accommodation for young people. This means living independently but having adult support if you need it, in a family based environment.

The lodgings provider offers a room to young people to rent. All supported lodgings are carefully checked by Social Services. Don't worry if you are not working your social worker will explain how your rent could be paid.

There will also be an agreement beteween you, the carer and your social worker regarding what will be expected from all involved.
