Children and Young People's Participation Officer

The Children and Young People's Participation Officer is there to make sure that Children's Social Care services listen to what you tell us about the way that services work for you. Their role is largely around consultation and participation. One way in which you can help is by taking part in an exit interview once you have left care.
The information you give will be confidential, if you wish, you can state which parts of the services works well and what needs improving.

You can contact the Children and Young People's Participation Officer  on 020 8545 4291
email: ssDutyManager.16+Team@merton.gov.uk

The Children and Young People's Participation Officer also acts as an Advocate for young people leaving Care who would like to make a complaint about the service they have received from children's services.

The Children and Young People's Participation Officer facilitates and advises the Children In Care Council at their regular meetings.
