The Listening to Children Officer

The Listening to Children Officer is there to make sure that Social Services listen to what you tell us about the way Social Services works for you. Her role is largely around consultation and participation. One way in which you can help is by taking part in an exit interview once you have left care.
The information you give will be confidential, if you wish, you can state which parts of the services works well and what needs improving.

You can contact your listening to children officer  on 020 8545 3569
(mobile 07985 420 533)
email: awayahead@merton.gov.uk . The listening to children officer is always keen to hear what you have to say and will also help you if you are not sure who to talk to about a problem.

The listening to children officer also acts as an Advocate for young people leaving Care who would like to make a complaint about the service they have received form children's service.
