Alcohol

Drinking alcohol can be bad for your health and it is illegal to buy it if you are under 18. Too much alcohol can make you sick and you are more likely to have an accident or get into trouble if you have been drinking. If you do decide to drink then take it easy. Make sure that you don't drink on your own and look after your friends if they have been drinking. Try to avoid mixing your drinks and don't drink near dangerous places like rivers, main roads or railway lines. Always check what is in your drink and never leave a drink unattended.

Remember that if you are taking medicines or drugs of any kind you should avoid alcohol completely.

If you feel that you may have a problem with alcohol you can talk to your carer, social worker or the LAC Nurses, Emma and Linda on 020 8545 4246 or email lac.nurse@merton.gov.uk
