I Need Somebody!

There are all sorts of people around you who can help you....

Your Social Worker
Your social worker has a real interest in your education and your future.  They will make sure you have an up to date PEP.

Designated Teacher for Looked After Children

At your school, there should be a special teacher for children in care.  If there isn't, you could talk to a teacher you like or trust - maybe your form teacher or head of year.  They can make sure that any problems you have in school are sorted; they can arrange for extra help and support for you.  They will help with your PEP.

Your Foster Carers or Residential Key Worker
They will help you with your homework and keep an eye on how you're doing at school.  They can go into school and speak to your teachers to help sort out problems that may arise.

Your Family and Friends
Ask people you know well for support and encouragement.
