Payments made to Former Relevant Young People in Higher Education or (University)

All young people attending university will receive from the department a yearly allowance of £3,000. This payment is paid on a termly basis.

It is expected that this allowance will assist students with the cost of the following course fees, personal living cost, examination fees and vacation accommodation. As a young person attending UNI you will be expected to access all other relevant sources of funding, including student loans, bursaries etc.

All young people in higher education will be nominated for a computer where a scheme is in place.

There is also an additional grant of £100 available towards the purchasing of books.

These payments will be provided for the duration of the course up to a maximum of three years or up to your 24th birthday.
