What to do if you are being Bullied
If you are being bullied here are some things you can do:-
- Tell an adult you trust, so that they can help you. You never know - the bully may also be ruining someone else's life too and if you can put a stop to the bullying you may also be able to stop someone else suffering.
- Tell a friend what is happening. Bullies usually prefer to pick on people on their own, so ask a friend to help you.
- Try to walk away. A bully will find it harder to pick on you if you won't stay and listen.
- Try not to get upset and angry. If you don't react to what they are saying, then they won't get what they want, which is to make you upset.
- Try not to get into a fight. You might get blamed for hurting the bully and get into trouble.
- Keep a diary about when things happen and how you are feeling. Then you will have something to show as evidence, if you need to, about the way the bully has been behaving and making you feel.
